Heat Start Region Play Tonight

The Heat swept the PEM Bucks in the league tournament and have now advanced to Region play.  The first game is Wednesday night at Stewartville.  Game time is 7:30pm.

Winning Streak Reaches 5!

The Heat had a very good weekend as they traveled to Wanamingo on Saturday and beat the Jacks 10-1.  On Sunday the Heat were the comeback kids as they erased a 5-1 deficit to beat Tri-County 7-5.  The Heat have now won 5 in a row and can relax until after the 4th of July.  Next game is Monday, July 6th vs Stewartville at Marcusen Park. 

Heat Complete Comeback in Win Over Waseca

The Heat found themselves behind 3-1 and 4-2 during Wednesday night's game at Waseca, but they were able to score 3 runs over the final three innings for the comeback 5-4 victory.  With the win Hayfield is now 6-5 overall and 4-4 in the Twin Rivers League.  Next up are games this weekend.  Saturday is at Wanamingo and Sunday is home against Tri-County.  Both games are 2:00pm starts. 

2015 Heat Update

Everything has now been updated for the 2015 Heat season on this website (sorry for the delay).  The Heat started out the season 0-4, but have won 5 of their last 6 games to have a 5-5 overall record.

Heat take down Stewartville

The Heat took down the Stewartville Sharks 5-2 Monday night at Marcusen Park in Austin. The Heat are now 9-7 in the Twin Rivers League. They next take on Waseca in a doubleheader Wednesday night.

The 2014 Twin Rivers League Schedule is out.  We will be adding more games once I agree on some dates with non-league teams.


Heat Season Comes to a Close

After a good regular season that saw the Hayfield Heat go 16-6 in league play and get the #3 seed for playoffs, everything went wrong in playoffs. The Heat went 0-2 in playoffs and exited quickly. We look forward to next season and making a better run in playoffs.

Heat beat Waseca and Clinch First Round Bye!

The Hayfield Heat used a 3-run top of the 9th inning to come back and beat the Waseca Braves 5-3 Friday night at Tink Larson Field in Waseca. The win assures the Heat will be a top 3 seed come playoff time and get a bye over HeyDays weekend! The Heat finish up league play Sunday when they travel to Wanamingo for a 2:00 game and then go to Kasson to finish up a suspended game at 5:00.

The Hayfield Heat had a great weekend of team baseball as they swept the Rochester Roadrunners on Saturday by scores of 2-1 and 8-3 and went extra innings Sunday to get the win over Waseca 2-1. The Heat are now 14-5 overall and are next in action Monday night in Austin against the Austin BlueSox.

Heat get big win over Stewartville

The Hayfield Heat dug themselves out a 3-0 deficit after 3 innings and came back to defeat the Stewartville-Racine Sharks on Sunday by a final score of 6-3. The Heat are now 11-4 overall and are back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Owatonna for a 7:30 start with the top team in our league. At this time, the Heat are the only team that have beaten Owatonna in league play.
